This website is for families and professionals who need to find things quickly, sometimes under pressure. We have tried to make it work for everyone.

What we have done

  • Text and background colours meet or exceed the recommended contrast levels
  • Body text is set larger than average, with generous line spacing
  • Pages work on a phone as well as a computer
  • You can zoom to 200% without the layout breaking
  • Headings are structured properly so screen readers can navigate the page
  • Images have text descriptions
  • Nothing moves, flashes or plays automatically
  • Phone numbers can be tapped to call
  • We have avoided jargon, and explained the terms we could not avoid

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA.

Where we fall short

Some documents in our policy library are PDFs, which are harder to use with a screen reader than a web page. If you need any policy in a different format, ask and we will provide it.

If you have trouble using this site

Tell us. We would rather know. Call 01724 454377 or email admin@pledge2learn.co.uk, and we will help you find what you need and fix the problem if we can.

This statement was prepared in August 2026. It concerns this website. Physical access to the school and access to the curriculum are covered separately in our accessibility plan.
