Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. This site uses very few of them, and none for advertising.

What this site uses

This website is hosted on WordPress.com. Two kinds of cookie are set:

Strictly necessary cookies

These make the site work. They handle things like security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice. The site cannot function properly without them, so they are set automatically and do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies

We use the visitor statistics built into WordPress.com to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. This tells us, for example, whether parents are finding the pages written for them. The information is aggregated and we cannot use it to identify you.

What this site does not use

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell any information collected through this site. There are no third-party marketing tags on these pages.

Content from other websites

Some pages link out to other organisations, such as Ofsted, the Department for Education or charities we recommend to families. Those sites set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies. We have no control over them.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. In most browsers this is under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this site working properly, but you will still be able to read every page.

If you would like help with this, or you have a question about how we use cookies, email dataprotection@pledge2learn.co.uk.
