For our students, the first outcome is attendance. Everything else depends on it.
Many arrive having been out of education for months, sometimes longer. Judging that student against a mainstream progress measure in their first term tells you nothing useful. We measure from where they actually started.
Qualifications achieved
You can see our published results below. Updates are ongoing as results are received.
Where our students go next
Students progress on to attending both local colleges. Other post-16 specialist provision is also explored along with the support of a careers adviser and their EHCP coordinator.
The outcomes that do not appear in data
A student who can now travel into town alone, cook a meal, sit in a room with other people, or ask an adult for help has gained something that will matter for the rest of their life. These changes rarely appear in a results table, but they are frequently the outcomes written into the plan, and they are the ones families notice first.
You can see some examples of this on our website regarding the independent life skills work that we support students with.
