Come and look round. Your child does not have to come with you.
Most parents visit on their own first. That way you can ask everything you want to ask without your child listening, and you can decide whether it is worth bringing them at all.
How to arrange a visit
Call 01724 454377 or email admin@pledge2learn.co.uk. You do not need a referral or any paperwork to visit.
What happens when you come
You will be greeted by a member of staff and shown around by one of the senior team. The visit will usually take place while students are in school, so you get a feel for what we actually do, and you can ask us anything you want to. We may have some questions too. A visit takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
If your child does come
They do not have to talk to anybody. They can look from the car park and go home again. They can come back another day.
To make a first visit easier for your child we can arrange a quiet time of day to come and see the building empty, meeting one member of staff rather than several.
Where to come
Address: Bottesford Town Football Club, Ontario Road, Scunthorpe, DN17 2TQ
Turn left: Drive down Ontario Road and turn left at the very bottom.
Spot the landmark: You will see the large sports hall straight ahead and to your left.
Finding our main entrance:
Look right: Our main school welcoming area is directly opposite the sports hall, on your right.
Come inside: Walk through the double white doors – our main entrance – and a member of staff will be right there to greet you.
Questions worth asking us
If it helps, go to the “parents and carers” menu at the top of this page and select the drop down option, “questions parents ask”; it covers things such as:
Q. what happens on a bad day
Q. who my child would talk to
Q. how you would tell me if something went wrong, etc..
Ask us the hard ones. We would rather answer them now than have you wondering later.
