It does not feel like a school
There are no corridors to get down, no bells, no crowd at the door, no hall full of people.
For a lot of our students, walking into a building that does not look or sound like school is what makes it feel right.
Our spaces
Main Learning Area & Breakout Hubs: Purposeful learning spaces – including The Cabin, Boardroom, and Sports Lounge – allow us to adapt learning to how a student is feeling on any given day.
Sports Hall & Fields: Generous outdoor and indoor spaces designed for physical activity, sensory regulation, and walking to support conversations.
Working Kitchen: A practical, domestic-style kitchen that can be used to support wellbeing and teaching real-world life skills.
Sport is part of the week
Being at a football club means a pitch and facilities are on the doorstep rather than a bus ride away. Sport is built into the week rather than bolted on, and it is often where a student who will not talk in a classroom starts talking.
