Thinking about what comes after Year 11 can feel like a lot. This page will give you a few areas to explore further.
What happens at 16
Young people have to stay in education or training until you are 18. That can mean:
- going to college
- starting an apprenticeship
- working or volunteering, while also doing part-time study
If you have an EHC plan, it can carry on after 18. Your annual reviews from Year 9 should include your plans for the future.
